World Cup Final that day.

mrs wummin and i are going into town today for a few beers.first time in over a year due to unforeseen circumstances,theres a wee rockabilly band we fancy hearing in maggie mays at six(the meatmen).just hope todays parades pass without any aggro in the city centre as i cant be arsed with the hassle it brings.

Sunday the 25th is fine. I'll be along, assuming it's a pub large enough to hold the three of you and still leave room for anyone else.

I've only been in there the once, when a bloke from work took us all there after a work night out. Unbeknownst to us previously, he morphed from a nice, quiet guy into a dangerously provocative nutter after six pints.

We finally got chucked out after he stood on a chair and sang all four hundred and twenty three verses of a, er, folk song - not sure if it was too much even for the regulars or if they were jealous because they only knew three hundred and ninety seven themselves.

Anyway. It looked like the kind of place where they remember faces, even fifteen years later. I think I'll stick to the other side of the road....

It is with deep sadness that I must report to you all that my contract has not been extended; and therefore the 16th will be my last day in Glasgow.

If anyone fancies a pint on the Thursday night 15th, I will in all probability be hanging around in Vronis. Cos thats just how I am

Might I suggest The Lismore as a starting off point? I can make it for around 2.30pm or a bit later.


Alas, I have a very big day on Thursday and will likely be knackered.
