Night Togging

Postby RutlandGizz » Wed Apr 28, 2010 7:46 pm

Blimey this forum section is a bit sparse!

I'm new to the forum and to Glasgow so please bear with me.

I'm interested in doing some night photography in the City. Obviously at this time of year that means from 9pm onwards, and that brings with it a series of problems, not least the problem of carrying expensive equipment and tripods through night time crowds. If you know what I mean.

I might be over-egging this a bit being 1) English (!!!!) and 2) from the country(side), but I'd be a lot happier doing night togging in a group.

So, if anyones interested in meeting up of an evening to do some photography, that would be great!

Areas I'm interested in doing are:

Erskine Bridge (Someone with a car would be good for this, happy to pay petrol)
Central Glasgow (Merchant City/Buchanan Street)
Clyde around the science centre thingy
Doulton Fountain at Glasgow Green
Glasgow uni - I am inspired by this guy:

Anyway, PM me if you're interested.

Cheers!

Me too, I can't get out at all on my own at night, far too dodgy. I tried it once and really felt very uneasy, constantly looking over my shoulder :(
