They had lightbulbs around the edges and would be illuminated at night.

No you didn't. Strange to see them in their proper location and with the tragedy / comedy mask things as well. They must be a wee bit older than the 1970's vintage that I had assumed? Thanks for sharing that.

dazza wrote:I thought it was the original location that people were wanting to locate, and not the location where they are located now. No?

I'm afraid my flickr photos have enough information attached to allow anyone interested enough to work it out.

Either location was what I meant. I think. I'm confused now.

Volunteer here, I'd like to know where the cats were sited too please.

Today's Picture. Along the Auchincarroch Road, Alexandria I spotted the sign in the picture. Sounds good to me and a polite way of asking traffic to slow down and take care.

Volunteer here, Partick Cross, Dumbarton Road.

Charity Shop worker helps customer load a fish tank into their car.

The out fit is loud, very loud. Not sure if it was for a promotion or not.

This day is the General Election 2015.

Volunteer here, The day is the General Election 2015.

My earlier post of a chap in Dumbarton Road is followed closely by this one.

As I stood at the junction of St Vincent Street and Renfield Street I noticed the man in the pics.

Didn't look like a local to me.

No shoes and stood out side Moss Bros.

Surely he could have nipped in to the Dress Hire Department and hired a pair of socks and shoes.

Looks a bit like John Kelly from Drumchapel. He's a great character and has dressed in some outrageous clothes over the years :)

Volunteer here, Thanks robertpool for the reply.

Hats off to John for his outgoing personality.

I am guessing he gives his time to the Glasgow Old Peoples Welfare Association Charity Shop behind the parked cars in the pics.

More folk like John needed.

Volunteer here, Thanks Banjo.

Used to visit the Goodyear for the Country and Western Nights a few years back.

The colourful character wasn't there these nights. C & W isn't for everyone.

Volunteer here, Spotted today in Glasgow.

Not quite graffiti, more like street art.

The wee dog on the Traffic Light Control Box designed from stick on squares looks funny.

Or is it a sign post for canines to jet up against
