Can any ornithologists out there explain this to me?
If it's a dry day, the pigeons at Knightswood park are everywhere. On the path, in the trees, on the grass .. everywhere.
On a wet day they are nowhere bar on the empty flower beds.
Most odd.

doorstop,when it rains the vibration causes the earthworms to surface making it rich pickings for the birds.a change from stale bread.

There was a squad of Morris Dancers in the Clutha a while back, which isn't exactly the kind of place one would expect to encounter them, cat swinging not encouraged. Edinburgh chaps apparently, surprisingly good, don't know how they never crashed into the basement!
