Sorry, this link seems to have got lost from beneath the pic of the hanging car. There were lots of pics and posts on similar things at this site, so I just grabbed the car pic as an example:

Considerate demolition in Westmuir Street, not only left the shelves up on the 3rd floor, left the stuff on them too:

Can't think of anywhere else to post this, but I just know there's got to be a witty caption for this oversized Black & Decker they had in High Street recently:

Would be handy for HG outings to closed off tunnels if nothing else I suppose. Might be a tad obvious though

The filing cabinets are on the march! Out of offices and into the streets in an attempt to wipe out humanity! This poor guy tried to stop them, seconds after this picture, he was "filed" permanently....

Nice one :)

Reminds of a Saturday I walked up St. Vincent St towards Blythswood Sq. At 09:30 there was a guy ferrying archive filing boxes between basements in adjacent buildings. When I headed back for train around 15:30, same guy was still ferrying boxes, albeit a bit slower and somewhat tired looking. Guess nobody else wanted the unpaid O/T.

This is strange..just off Gorbals st, next to the railway arches i stumbled on this

Don't know if it was a real project then was abandoned or whether it's a joke or something. The CCTV warning seems real though, there is a wee camera in a mesh cage trained on the site.

On closer inspection, we can see the buckfast brigade have given their verdict

Very very rare for this time of year:

Image

As you can see... One didn't quite make it to the nest.

Have to be very quiet lest I startle them and they take flight:

Fascinating!

Nice one TZ. I know where that nesting site is, but i'll keep quiet incase anyone tries to steal them.

Here's another oddity, that there's probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for, but is odd none the less.

Image

These painted footprints are next to the Hilton. They start from right beside the wall of the Hilton, no paint spilled, nothing, and continue over the pavement, barrier and two lanes of road. They end under the Kingston Bridge approach.

Odd, but strangely good.

Maybe it's a webcam, and there's a site out there crying for vistitors to visit and watch the Lauriston Garden Art Project take shape.
