Another "find" from my stock of old Photographs. All I knew is that it was taken from the Waverley in the late 1980s.
A close scan of the stern of the ship suggested that the name of the nearer ship was "Tame" or something like that. A quick Google brought up the excellent http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/
site and a search of active vessels showed the "Taihe" as a Container Vessel built in 1989 at Govan.
Photographic proof was also there to confiirm the vessels identity.
The other vessel is the sister ship "Puhe" launched in 1990.
