Oldish but far from vintage, think they were all built in 1991, with the lightly turbo-charged mechanicals of a Nissan Micra.

The Japanese seem to enjoy making modern retro stuff - isn't there one that looks like a baby MkII Jag?

I'm prepared to be corrected, but I seem to recall Columbo drove a battered Peugeot convertible? 504 or something of that vintage?

That over-exposed Triumph is a Mk II Stag, isn't it? I can't make out anything aft of the A-pillar, but the presence of a hole for the side indicator repeater (which I believe was a requirement of the American market) suggests it not a 2000/2.5 PI saloon model.

I can't tell whether the Hillman is a Hunter or a Minx. There were so many variations on the theme including Humber, Sunbeam and Singer models that its throughly confusing.

saw the yellow 'tina this morning.
crap phone pic, i zoomed in, but all this seems to do is give you a 320x240 crop of the original
Image

i thought it had huge 'rims' but it actually has quite wee chunky alloys, with those slightly-too-wide tyres - still naff on an otherwise nice motor ::):
