If you hadn't told us the photo's title on Flickr would still just be Classic Car. :D

Is it a Tygan?

I've heard of such beasties ..but, as yet, haven't seen one in the flesh .. so to speak.

Its a Chesil 356 but chesil went bust last summer and were just recently taken over by Tygan so you were close. The car in the pic has been in Glasgow a few years and has been along to our VW club.

"Close but no cigar" .. story of my life.

Replica or not .. it looks the berries.

I've got a mate who has a karmann ghia and is forever being asked for the chassis/engine should he ever decide to scrap it so I've got a tiny bit of insight as to the replica 356 scene.

Has anybody managed to catch a pic of the new M8 American tow truck? Its fapping huge and always seems to have a bin lorry on the back.

Spotted 2 Rover P5's tonight. It made me very happy as this is my number 1 drool over car.
First one in Kirkintilloch but missed getting a pic then while passing the 911 yard on Polmadie road I spotted this and had to stop for a pic;

Looks like the front is bashed but if they want to drop it off outside my house I wont say no.

That was the plan. The designers at nissan set out to make a quirky 50's/60's style car and a modern style van as concept cars.
They came up with the Figaro above and for the van the S-cargo.

So popular as concepts they went into production but only in limited numbers so quite sought after.

Somebody in the West End has got one. I've seen it quite a few times, mostly parked on Byres Road. Might actually be the same car Alex took a picture of although I don't recollect the distinctive reg. no.
