I can see three separate species of tinworm, even from this distance :)

Cheating slightly. This is a screen grab from the film "Silent Scream" , but you do get a bonus "where is that?" out of it.

Try Tobermory Road in Cathkin
I can't be certain, there's a Leylandii in the way and the lampposts look like they've been replaced, but it's steep enough, there's chimney pots to the left and a stepped wall to the right. Maxi will have been eaten away by now.

If it's not there, it will be within a couple of hundred yards as the buuldings in the distance need to be to the right of Dumgoyne in the far background. Don't forget quite a few of them have been blown down.

I'm pretty sure Brigit has it nailed - Dumgoyne being the killer exhibit.

Where else could you get such a swift answer to such an obscure and ultimately pointless question? :D

::): ::): I used to stay in Tobermory road as well........But I'm confused with that map.

Tobermory used to run where Bute road is now........Did they rename the streets during the regeneration ?

EDIT.....My wife has just told me they did rename the street.

This pic is from Perth air show a few years back.

Interestingly that 3 wheeler Morgan type car is actually brand spanking new. It is a kit car by Aero Cycle Cars using a Moto Guzzi motorcycle engine. Some use Harley Davidson engines, some use Honda CX 500 V twins and there is also a model using Citreon 2CV engines.
