Took this one at the former John Brown's site (where i worked in the early 90's a sub-contractor) was interesting to take this pic thru a window that used to be an office!

What's happening with the old ABC cinema in Kilmarnock? Is it being redeveloped?

Yeah I passed it and the door was lying wide open, but I could hear noises like drills inside so not sure what's happening.

By sheer coincidence I passed by it last night in a taxi (company expenses btw) quite a substantial bit of red sandstone to the frontage.

Turboz I woulda gave you a bell as I was in town for a couple of hours but I knew you were off to watch a flick at the Dazzatorium.

OK! getting back on topic Industrial pics etc. This is one of my faves I took of a welder doing his err.. welding thing. You can almost feel the intensity of the MIG weld. Ooh! it hurt the eyes that day I can tell you, at least he had a protective helmet and I had no protection what so ever. I might as well have went bare back. ::):

My grandfather Bexmond Von Bissell took this photo of Govan just prior to carrying out some of his daily duties.
He worked the occasional night aswell and transformed much of the area in and around Govan and Clydebank.
Note the Granery, top right.
Oh, the humanity!
