just noticed the black band running down the right handside, rubbish! need to get the old photo shop out. not a fan of photo shop though, it somehow sullys the photo. better to have it in its original state in my opinion, unless there's a bastard big black band runnin down one side!

strange effect PGCC - the sky gets brighter as the sun disappears. Is this a product of the camera, i.e. shooting into a big bright light, it underexposes?

Yeah! Duncan it was all due to under exposure so I could capture the sun on the horizon.
I had the camera set to manual as the program modes were bleaching out. I coulda mucked about to get a better exposure but the sun was going down fast. It kinda worked! :D

Few more taken from the summit of Dechmont Hill in Cambuslang last Saturday night - these are all looking southwest towards Cathkin Braes.

Sorry there's so many, but the light changed every 30 seconds and I ended up taking over 50 shots! These were the best I thought, and are all in chronological order - first one taken at 5.31pm, last one at 6.07pm.
