Taken in Glasgow City Centre last Thursday afternoon - I just loved the crisp colour of the sky. Anybody know where it was taken?

Yip, it's that old closed up bank building on the junction with Renfield street. My girlfriend was in the hair salon across the road and I was getting bored waiting so started snapping.

The for sale sign for the building next door in the pic says BT Property-is it a BT owned building?

It's the old Bank of Scotland Glasgow Chief Office. Sort code 80-54-01 for all you Bank employees out there. Closed a few years back and merged with the Halifax at Central Station.

Being redeveloped sometime soon. Planning permission has been sought for a horrible glass "Queen Street Station" style roof, which will make it look shit.

Your right Dr. it's gonna look crap. How on earth is a building with a glass roof going to fit in with the rest of the buildings in that part of town! Crazy!

It's not that, it's the fact they're just sticking one onto the top of the building. Do you not think if the original architect had thought it was a good idea, he would have done it?
