Although I don't really see the value of the
curved glass roof, I have to admit it's one of my favourite proposals and doesn't look much like Queen St station. Has a very classy (and original) look to it.
Always looking up...

I just think if it had been meant to have a roof like that the original architect would have
put one there. Why add something to a building that doesn't need it?
Too few hours in the day.

we could probaly start a shopping trolleys thread...for trolleys who make a break for freedom. And for those that have met a sticky end and drowned in a stagnant puddle!

Purplegrum...that is gorgeous. I love the way your eye gets led from tehe detail at the bottom in the pebbles up to the horizon.
Now here's some more water.
Nice weather for ducks
I've got a Loch Rannoch panorama somewhere. ...hmmmm

Here's another one from Loch Rannoch. The camera was full of pictures from inside the ROC post so I didn't have any space left to capture any more of the Loch - it was a bitterly cold February morning if I remember correctly.

Tell me to f**k off if you want, but i took the first one into photoshop and did a wee touch of colour correction... it just seemed a teesy bit blue...

Yeah you're right Sharon, it is too blue. I use my old digital camera (it's like a brick) for ROC posts because I'm not so bothered if it gets hammered around or lowered down on a rope into floodoed posts, plus the exposure is cranked up to take pictures underground and I forgot to change the settings when I got up top which kinda jiggered the photo a little.
Nice work Sharon!
