Well done Peetabix, I think they're both excellent! The feather's my favourite, but how did you do the flowers?

Thanks a lot. The flowers I have to admit were a total fluke. I was using the Nik Color Efex Pro plugin for CS3, put one of the sliders all the way to the left and just like that I had a nice black background with some crackin' texture on the actual rose.

Now all I have to do is find what filter I used. :) I honestly can't remember.

Even so, the composition is really fantastic. The way they seem to be snapshots of how a flower would look as it fell and spun through the air, it's like something an artist would paint.
