It needs a bit more time spent on it to do it properly, but for a first pass I'm quite chuffed with it!

Pretty good, I can't see the joins anyway (guessing made of 3, or 2 if the FSM and vent are the ame pic). At least you have some to try with. All my pics are u/s for this as I take them from by moving around the post rather than panning.

What you don't want is somebody that knows the layout of the elements to look at it though, as they might say that the vent should be showing a concrete face to the camera and not a louvred face, and neds must have moved the FSM a few feet from its usual spot.

You know what's coming now. If it's one Ive been to I should be able to recognise it, but I see the cap on the shaft vent has been dislodged and it doesn't ring a bell.

Any chance of dropping the post name pls?

I visited about 13 posts yesterday, that one was Eskdalemuir - we actually replaced the GZI mount back on top of the vent shaft before we left.

Thanks. Eskdalemuir's one I missed, but I think I got the first pics of Boreland along the road, talk about picked clean.

Done the hike up the quarry side to Creetown yet? I made the first visit for pics, and there was no hint about hillside, an understatement :) That would be a good one to shoot deliberatley for a panorama stitch.

Yeah I've done the hike up the quarry for Creetown - fab view from the top although the post wasn't worth it. I'll see if I can dig out some pics...

the new issue of Digital Camera Magazine has a free copy of RealViz Stitcher on the cover CD, which used to retail for about 400 squids.
