An event in George square that may be worth taking some pics of.

Fete de la Musique - Free music event in George Square today!

George Square, Wednesday 21st June 2006, 12.30pm-6.00pm

Since it was founded in Paris in 1982 the Fete de la Musique has been celebrated every year not only in France but in more than 100 cities across Europe and it is in Glasgow this year to make music to mark the longest day of the year. The Alliance Francaise de Glasgow and the Goethe-Institut Glasgow in association with Glasgow City Council are delighted to welcome the Bavarian Group Unterbiberger Hofmusik, the Breton group Dom Duff as well as Ross Ainslie and Jarlath Henderson a traditional Celtic folk group.
