Big night at the City Chambers. Would have been one of the Lord Provost's Civic Dinner's.
When was the photo taken Liam? I may be able to find out what was going on.

You sure, Alex? Not that I know the slightest thing about mobile pollution units, but they all look a bit racy even for Glasgow councillors

We like to travel in style sometimes.
There is a fleet of Council cars which are used every day. We have great drivers aswell. If I knew when the picture was taken it wouldn't be hard to find out what was on that night.

the cars belong to friends, the photo was taken in 2005 between may and august. when i find the original I'll tell you the exact date.

It's a boy racers cruise meet up. Mind you I know f*ck all about cars.
Charlie Gordon thought I was taking the piss when i complimented him on his new motor. It was blue, gleaming and nicely styled. "Is it a Daewoo?" I innocently enquired. "Naw an Alpha Romeo" was the gritted teeth response.
Mind you when anybody spoke to Councillor Gordon one immediately felt he was taking it the wrong way.
