The connection being that the wood panelling in The Steps is from a mock-up of the Queen Mary at the 1938 Empire Exhibition in Bellahouston.

I just set the camera on shutter priority for about one second, half pressed the shutter to expose and focus on the window, had the lens zoomed right into the window. Then pressed the shutter full way down while zooming out. I had camera on a tripod it just didn't work hand held :)
There might be other ways to so it, but that was easiest for me LG. You coud probably fill the frame with the zoom, but I was more than happy that I just got it ::): (took 9 goes BTW)
