Here's two from a total of three deer which didn't mind me getting quite close today:

No zoom, as I only had my Tokina 11 - 16 lens.

Never ceases to amaze me that big animals like deer would choose to live in the city!

BT, Your wee tortoise looks like its having a good wee laugh at something :)

I've not photographed anything other than squirrels, birds and a few bugs for ages now; or indeed anywhere other than from my home office window... so might as well share a few recent ones.

Volunteer here, Two donkeys just quietly waiting in the corner of a field above Hamilton. If you know the Mutton Hole Road you'll know these two characters.

Volunteer here, over in Strathclyde Park the Swans make it known they like to be fed. Signs are posted telling the public not to feed the birds. Having read up on the subject I found that they can be poisoned by the toxins in bread. They then go away somewhere quiet and die. The Caracas are picked on by carrion and we never see the late dear departed. I now enjoy the company of the Swans but do not feed them.

Volunteer here, most creatures do not like to be disturbed when romancing each other. My caption for these pics is “Can ye no see am chatting ma burd up”. Any more suggestions.

Volunteer here, Pictured in Gordon Street two of Scotland Finest Mounted formerly know as Strathclyde's Finest. From memory as I cannot locate the information since the Strathclyde Police website is now closed and the information on Police Scotland website doesn't seem to have the detail. The Police horses are each named after Scottish place names with their first letter indicating the year. This moves on alphabetically similar to vehicle registrations. One is named California from the village near Falkirk.

I'm sitting in your jacket lining, in the heat of the sun shining in through the window and guess what?

I don't give a fuck.

Yeah, I've opened my eyes and see you taking a photo.

Still don't give a flying one.

It's my jacket now .. live with it, slave.
