It's just the lighting John .. her eyes take on a blue hue in the shade and green when not.

Lot of noise coming from the back yard as I was about to retire for a lunchtime siesta. There was the unmistakeable sound of birds involved in a fight. I looked out of the window to see a number of starlings mobbing a magpie. Said magpie had caught one of the starlings and seemed to be trying to drown the poor wee blighter in the gutter.

I'm not fond of magpies. This one was taking ages to despatch his quarry. Eventually he carried it off to share with his mate.
