Ever been in just the right time and place to get any rare(ish) photos? I have. A few months back, I found out that a steam train returning to Carnforth (where the HQ of its operator is located) from Fort William would be passing through my local station. After checking the times on the net, I headed off. No sooner than I had clambered up several stairs and onto the platform, it appeared round the bend. I had approximately four seconds to fire off these two shots:

Anyone else got pics that when you look back at them, you think "you jammy bastard"?
