Ospreys

Postby Schiehallion » Sat Jun 09, 2007 9:57 pm

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to get myself a right good zoom lens. Anyway I set off today all excited hoping the ospreys wouldn't let me down.....he was away fishing but she certainly didn't let me down. These were taken from about 80 yards distance.

I spotted this treecreeper as I was going through the forest. What treecreeper you might ask! That's the power of camouflage!

Hate to have to say this but if you don't mind I'd rather not say what with ospreys nesting there. Sad indictment on this society - these birds should be enjoyed by everyone but unfortunately...............

Don't know what happened there but can one of the moderators please delete 2 of the previous posts?

BTW wasn't there an option where we could delete our own posts a few weeks or so back?

There was, but folk were abusing it.

But I've nearly fallen foul of the multiple post thing myself : I think it is a result of the current sluggish reponse time - it looks like hitting the 'Submit' button hasn't worked, so you just hit it again.

We might just have to buy Sharon some new shoes, I reckon :) .
