From e-mail:
Congratulations! You have made it in to the final 20 photos in Miller Genuine Draft’s ‘My Glasgow’ competition, defeating over 2500 other entries- an amazing achievement which could see your photo turned in to a giant piece of Glasgow public art! The winning photograph will be judged by 4 industry and media professionals and the winner revealed at an exclusive Miller Genuine Draft party on 19th April 2007, which we hope you will be able to attend. An invitation will follow next week.

Thanks, chaps.
It was this one here:
Nothing amazing (or even particularly Glasgow-y) but I guess someone liked it.
Hope they don't make me drink Miller …

I've just had an email to tell me that one of my photos has made the cut for the final design and will be part of the mosaic.
No sign of any free beer though although I have been invited to the unveil event on Thursday.
I won't get too carried away by my success as I expect they need to use thousands of photographs to construct the mosaic.

Walked past Oran Mor today, they're erecting the frame for the big mural, which is going to be up on the Great Western Road wall side of the building. I see the event is tonight. Congratulations you two, well done for getting your stuff in there. I'll be having a good look at the mural once it's done.

No my son has chickenpox and I am confined to barracks as I haven't had it yet and am waiting to see if I erupt in spots.
I hope that you had a good time.
Cheers
