Should I?

Postby McShad » Sat Jan 07, 2006 7:46 pm

Myself and my trusty OM10 used to go out often and take pictures
But its something I rarely do anymore and alot of people see my work and tell me I should get back into it

So, I have posted my portofolio for you to give opinions on...

If I get enough encouragement, I might just get back into it

35mm stuff, not digital

(And I'm willing to travel round with other keen people)

Yeah go for it.

You've got some nice shots in there just go easy with the starburst filter (the Buchanan St shot is a bit much). I like the banding effect your paranoid filter brought out of the sky in the windmill shot.

The Buchanan St shot was... I'm not sure... I like it because the total overkill gives it a very mystical effect (note the traffic lights!)

The windmill was done with a polarising filter... something I never really got into... but you can create some nifty colours with it!! ;)

I like to take candid shots, spur of the moment pictures... create an unusual image... I'm not one for pose shots or tourist scene pictures and still lifes

But thanks for the comments, all welcome
