tinypic pic hosting

Postby Apollo » Sun Nov 14, 2004 1:13 am

Cheap (free) and cheerful (no registration needed) picture hosting at:-

http://tinypic.com

Tiny because the url's tiny, not the permitted pic size.

e.g. http://tinypic.com/ljn00

Not for storage, just temporary hosting, images not accessed for more than 30 days are automatically deleted from system.

Allowed types: jpg, png, gif and bmp. Max size 250 k, autoresize if bigger.

True, that's why I made sure I mentioned it, but small print does say the 30 day life is absolute, but is 30 days from last access, so could save you bunging up your Photobucket, or whatever, with temporary stuff that you always forget to tidy up when it becomes redundant.

(Then you see it months later and leave it there, since you've forgotten it was supposed to be deleted, but can't remember).

Don't I just wish, but it was a handy sample pic 8)

Pulled out of that race after going full Dolby Pro-Logic surround with top Kenwood system, then they upped the spec, so no more. Also got more than slighty ticked off recently when I found that the cone support rings on the bass units in my big Wharfdales disintegrated when I touched them one day. Well, maybe fare better if I ever power up the ancient Bose units an acquaintance left at my house after landing a job in the States which meant he literally had to sell his house and contents and go at a moments notice.
