Since many offers and recommendations will be shared, please consider the following:
While mostly cosmetically intact, many pairs have been damaged (I don't restore shoes, but that's my guess)
The store has been closed for over 40 years. Heat and dry air conditions have made leather shoes stiff and inner soles dry and fragile. They may be repairable.
Rubber soled sneakers/shoes have become so brittle and dry that they crack or are too stiff to even bend.
Some may snoop, these pictures are four (4) years old. We've since had a production company who works with vintage costumes and clothing take away some pairs. My grandparents were compensated.
There are still plenty of shoes left. Considering the condition of them we have few options available to us. Unless of course someone brings up an idea that gains the family interest.
While I am related to the owner of the store, I do not speak on their behalf. I wanted to share the pictures because I thought the shoe types were interesting, not to turn a profit.
Please understand that I can not directly sell/ship/make agreements without first consulting with my family.
