Any one wise in the ways of Photo framing?

Not keen to spend a fortune (due to nonexistence of a fortune) but want to make some pics stand out. Any ideas on good places to buy frames. ? Any tips on what works best etc ??

Cheers in advance

Depends on how tight your budget is really. If you are printing a standard size then you can pick up frames in the likes of Debenhams or Ikea. The ikea ones I've seen are of questionably quality though and definitely look cheap. There's a few places that you can buy online and they'll send the frames out to you (a quick google will find them). Some of them will even make up frames to custom sizes for you, along with mounts etc. Means that you have to put it all together yourself, but a bit of Blue Peter never hurt....

If you're looking for custom framing then definitely try the Framing Workshop out at Charing Cross. They do a good job and they do it a much better price than anyone else doing the same thing that I can find. They'll take you through everything with frame and mount samples too, which is a massive advantage over going online (aside from the fact you're also supporting a local business).
