20 year old aniversary for this venue, i remember Simple minds playing here, but originaly remember it as The Saints and Sinners Pub during the 80s.

20 years! God I'm getting on a bit 8O . I remember Saints and Sinners too.

Best gig I ever saw At King Tut's was Mother Earth back in the day . Another memorable one was big toothed Hendrix impersonator Randy Hanson with none other than Noel Redding playing base.

This isn't King Tut's , but it gives you the picture. No Noel unfortunately.

My first gig there was A Certain Ratio on 21st January 1994

Best was British Sea Power.

Played there a couple of times with The Leaders Of Men early 90's,some folk on the forum have already heard one of the gigs.Joy Division tribute band before the tribute band explosion. :roll:

Never! Positive Noise ripped Magazine off a whole lot more.But for Ghosts and Refugees i'll forgive them.And sod it i liked the album as well :wink: Not sure about the Leisure Process mind..............................

We had been doing it unconsciously since Terminal Strange in 78,but it wasnt until Tam Coyle had the idea of actually being Joy Division did we put it all together.Btw i think Mr Coyle still owes us for the gigs. :P And for the record i actually did play on these ones............................................
