This seems the most appropriate place to ask this question seeing as the Walrus and the Carpenter may be the answer.
I was born in November 1973 and have quite a few memories from the summer of 1976 and my pre school years. One of these is visiting a toy shop with my Mum. This place had wooden floors on two levels. There were toys behind brightly lit glass panels and, most amazing to my eyes, loads of those mobile toys (imagine Zebedee from the Magic Roundabout with the spring at the top) which seemed to be perpetually moving.
Neither of my parents can remember this? If anyone can help I would be very grateful and will buy you a couple of drinks should we meet at an HG event.
The Clyde Model Dockyard seems to have shut in the early 1970's which rules that out.
Shuggy
Cleggy you snickering floppy eared hound when courage is needed, you're ne'er around.
Those medals you wear on your moth-eaten chest should be there for bungling at which you are best.
