Went to St Anne's in Fielden St.
Then onto St Mungo's Academy just across from it when it was an all boys school. The girls were moved in the year after i left (bloody typical).

My mum told me a story years ago about when she went for a job with Glasgow Corporation as a school cook the guy interviewing her got very annoyed because she went to Portree High School and he couldn't tell which foot she kicked with.

She got the job anyway and worked in Kingsridge (Drumchapel)

St Denis Primary
St Gregory's Secondary
Anniesland College

My brother went to West St School after failing his 11+. When he left to get a job, he was employed as an apprentice in Bridgeton, however when they discovered he was catholic they "let him go". They thought he was a prod because he didn't go to a Saint school.

Fools.

Schools

Postby Smartalex » Sat Oct 08, 2005 9:10 pm

I went to Leithland Primary school in Pollok from 1983-1990
and then Shawland Academy from 1990-1995

After going to primary school with a lot of folk I did'nt like Instead of going to Crookston Castle with the rest of them I went to Shawlands
to meet even more people I did'nt like.

It's funny how you leave school sometimes with a handful of friends or am I just too picky???? ::):
