Thanks Fossil, I now know you & the rest could well have had a field day with this one. I appreciate your kindness. I had asked my 2 older weans to explain and after mucho guffaws, tittering and embarassment, they eventually gave me an explanation. My next question is .. how do my weans know about cottaging ??? Maybe that is a question I better not ask, mmmm ?

Well I would if I could but the bams show no interest n getting on that particular ladder. They are the "keep living at home, paying minimal dig money, using the hoose like a hotel, (wi me as the Head Housekeeper) accept no responsibility and spend what ye earn on fun,fun,fun" types so far. But.... I have a plan. A wise wummen (mother of 3 sons) told me many years ago that she was going to start "taking the blankets off the bed" i.e. make life at home uncomfortable.

Anyway back to the quest the picture, it is not next to the Glory Hole. I thought Fossil was actually talking about a real glory hole in the street off byres road .

Clues you have so far

1. it is a street of Byres Road but not the one Fossil refers to had to google the Glory Hole and it's in Ruthven Lane not where our Mystery Picture is !

2. it's not indoors.

Keep guessing / looking folks.

P.S. Sorry Fossil for mistaking you as a person to know where all the Glory Holes of Glasgow are I must have been mistaking you with Onny. Where is Onny its starting to become Onny's type of thread.
