They've been running irregular markets there for the past couple of years, now, mainly at Christmas and Easter I think. Our mooshimooshisan will be able to elaborate, but this isn't anything new. Regular is new, yes, but not having a market there.

The idea for a regular Sunday market stemmed from a Christmas market which was a huge success.

A one-off market was also held during the summer which featured a small bar and a massage area.

That is poor sub editing which is a necessary sub section of journalism. It does tend to underestimate how stupid some of the readers are.

I have a feeling this won't last for much longer. I've been along for a browse a number of times now and every time there seems to be fewer stalls and fewer people.

Were any HGers there this afternoon ? Only I saw a man taking a close-up photo of a puddle and thought "Only a Hidden Glasgower would do something like that". ::):

I'm afraid that was me, Mark. Photo was pretty crap though.
Hopefully the situation will improve with lessening rainfall.
