Stonework

Postby Hoey St » Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:38 pm

I will be visiting Glasgow in the next few weeks and would appreciate it if anybody could direct me towards any stonework of an interesting nature. The recent post about Faside House is a good example of what I am looking for. Even dry stone work such as dykes etc. Glasgow and local environs only as i don't have any transport.

If you are going up to see Faside I am sure there was some recent work to the walls on the edge of the Dams to Darnley Country Park. I know you have an interest here so it may be worth a wee walk to the Dams.
