So it would seem we are not even safe when its switched off...
Maybe this was the real warning the scientist's were giving.
If cheese gets mouldy you throw it out...
Why buy it mouldy in the first place ?

Gosh, isn't the Daily Record up to date, or stuck for a space to fill.

I think anyone with web access and half an interest knew this some time ago.

The downside is that everyone 'in the business' knows about this, and it's easily defeated by making sure the phone's really off, or even more technically complex - taking the battery out! when employed on naughty activities, and using a Use-and-Dispose phone.

These stories are great for 'feelgood' factor, but of little real value regarding catching anyone of value. Much more interesting for catching Joe and Josephine Public cheating on one another as they won't be aware of what can be done with phones (and pre-occupied).
