Vodafone advert

Postby BTJustice » Fri Jun 22, 2007 9:11 pm

Is it just me or does the new Vodafone advert with the watch bits falling from the sky look like it was filmed in Glasgow?
There is deffinately an SPT train in there and a lot of the rest looks like it was filmed in the city centre.

I was thinking possibly wee bits of it aye.

The Spt train could be anywhere though (Is there not another English Rail Company with Carmine/Cream Livery?)

Can't get that bloody April Showers song out of my head.

Also, With global Warming is June not the new April going by the weather over the last few days. :o

What a site this is, to be sure. Even the women are train buffs.

Hate to bring this argument up again but I am fairly sure this is not a train going to Ayr.

Image

It is more than likely a train departing Craigendoran to Cardross or Cardross to Dumbarton as the level crossing looks like the one either at Cardross station or Arden.

Image

This would tie in because the first shots they have done are in Helensburgh as pointed out by Cheesy Lion, it would make economical sense to film in the same area rather than packing up and heading out to Ayr.

Yes it is indeed Craigendoran, but they have edited after filming as the OHLC is nowhere to been seen! The new magic wireless class 334 :)!
