I didn't have a problem with this as it was clearly farce. I was surprised that anyone did complain. It was the suicides in front of the trains that gave me a stony face.

As it happens, I was going on the text of the discourse .. watching it he was in fact being entirely facetious and his usual cunty High Oafish Knobhead.

It's all publicity seeking claptrap and it's not new - my friend at school (1960's) was in a pantomine at the King's theatre and lo and behold just before it was due to open up comes the story in the newspapers about how my friend was rescued by one of her fellow performers when a mini fire broke out at rehearsals. I asked her next day what happened - she said nothing - a wee deal done to publicise the panto.
