Remember it doesn't mean that's where the crime was commited. Forensics could just be "re-decorating" a suspects house for clothes, weapons, cameras, etc.

Cybers,
What an appalling story. Take it to the papers. Kick up such a stushie and write to the chief constable. That way you will get action. I once did just that for a different abuse of power, and I got a result.

How do you mean, Hazy, a turf war or what?

There have been previous gang fights with young Asians in the area. Just as kids from any other area yes you are probably correct H . A wee turf war

When you say "with young Asians"; do you mean between young Asians or between young Asians and others?

Aye thats right two Asian gangs. Bandannas and all.

Although it's probably better if a non motoring member made the request.

I've just emailed the acpos secretariat asking for clarification on taking photographs in public, providing my full name and address, and not just the anonimity of an email address.

Will report back on any developments

Still no word

Maybe you've prompted them into thinking of a policy for photos in publc.

A wee tale about the police in the countryside.
My son runs a campsite and a couple of weeks ago late at night, several lads attacked a couple pushing the girl to the ground. My daughter-in -law ran to help but she was also pushed about.
One of the lads then lifted a half drunk bottle of cheap booze to hit the guy with but my daughter-in-law saw him and she grabbed the bottle and confiscated it.
The police were called and asked to evict the rowdies who by now had all the other campers awake and worried, but they said they could not do that.
In the morning after my son finally got rid of them, the police came back to say that if my daughter-in-law did not return the bottle she had confiscated she would be charged with theft.
How is it that fighting drunks can be arrested in a pub and not on a campsite. How come folk can behave like that and the police take their side.
Too much paperwork maybe.
