Wellington Street - Cobbles Emerge

I notice a cobbled street is beginning to appear at the bus stop on Wellington Street. That wee bit of road is always being repaired, presumably because it can't handle the heavy buses braking on a slope.

What is quite clearly a cobbled street has now been uncovered and I reckon it won't be long before it gets covered over again. Shame, because it looks really nice.

Perhaps a remaining cobbles thread is in order ?

I'm gutted that Meadow Road has recently been "de-cobbled". I used to love the noise of the car as it passed over these relics of Glasgow's past.

Looks like Meadow Road was only recently resurfaced, perhaps in the last 6 months.

I don't have any pics but if I pass that way at the weekend I will take my digital cam and get one.
