Pasts in need of a Present...

Postby nodrog » Fri Feb 02, 2007 5:58 pm

I've been given the photos below by the very nice Paul Francis, who's been sending our Scottish Cinemas website lots of 1980s cinema photos [and is also the source of the great 1980s pics of St Georges Cross I posted the other week in the Past Present thread].

If you can provide a 'present' photo to any of the following, all taken around 1986, then please post it here - and in the proper Past Present thread - he's keen to see what these places look like now!

You get more points the closer you are to replicating the angles and locations the pics were taken from!

Cheers

Nodrog

that was a sad day when that went. I thought somebody would object so i did not bother. Of course naebody did and it's even more of a shit hole than what it was. They gave the art deco stuff away to regulars.

Ahhhhh, if you'd posted this earlier this afternoon, I'd have gone along and got you pictures of the Luma tower as it is now. Although I'm sure there is others kicking about already

It's not quite the same angle - minus points for it being a bit squint! ;)

I took it last April, so I couldn't predict what angle your picture would be at!

I'll carry my camera to work with me next week and see what I can get.

Oh all right then; bonus points for having second sight and taking a photo 9 months before it was needed... ;)
