You used to be able to look inside it and see a model of the rooftops of the east end.

We walk past this almost everyday. It's a pretty cool idea for a sculpture and it's a shame that you can no longer look inside. It must have taken some effort to actually smash the glass...

I'd very much like to see it fixed - whip round?

*nice idea for a thread Dicky

My memory of 1990 is at best hazy due to the late opening times of pubs and clubs ::):

I found this in a kitchen drawer when I moved into my flat. It opens out to show a map with all the venues. It divides the city into 7 zones: west end, city centre, charing cross, glasgow cross, northern, east end and south side. The map shows 10 heritage trails within the city but no milestones.
