One of the waiters said on Radioclyde261 tonight that they were Jam packed full and the fucking racist announcer asked was that the owners name.

How likely is it to be the owners torching the premisies in the busiest month of the year for restaurants when they already have all the permissions etc for the redevelopment and alternative premises?

Perhaps they have one of those insurance policies which pays out for loss of income (confirmed bookings) yet they won't need to buy any raw materials to sell (?)

Get CSI in, they ALWAYS suss this kind of stuff out. I nearly remember a series which was all about that kind of stuff - forensics on fire raising or did I just make that up? Was Jimmy Nail in it ? Am I just thinking about some book I have read ? Honestly, if the ordinary punter can almost work it out, why cant the "detectives" What is going on ?

Mmmmmm.......single storey building catches fire and the flames shoot up 70 feet.

Flat roof probably has Asphalt in it which burns like Napalm but the roof would have been soaking given that it has not stopped raining for the last two weeks.

Dry cold day with no wind yet the place went up like the special effects in a Die Hard movie.

Arson me thinks.
