Not read it all yet but that seems a great site! Surprisingly well-written for a bus driver to.

I have often had cause to reflect upon the average Bus users opinion of drivers more often I am proved correct and it is this; your average bus user considers the driver as a mere extension of the bus and not a person at all, hence the quotation. The Nazis used an expression "Unter menschen", perhaps when we begin to treat each other like human beings and give due regard to those willing to provide a service for others, then things could well change.

That was like listening to a recording from the Black Hole of Calcutta.

The chivalry demonstrated by speccy Steven towards the gobby senga at the end gave me a warm feeling inside: "Ah don't give a f*ck; ah'll f*ckin' knock her out [...] ah'll f*ckin' punch yer c*nt in!".

I have taken some choice excerpts from Cheesemonster's recording on the 62 bus and used them as the basis of a song.

Best listened to on headphones while under the influence of drink/drugs etc.

It is in mp3 format at 160Kbps encoding and the file is 3 meg.

Get it here:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robertsonj/copies/Ambient62.mp3

It is probably better to right-click the link and select "Save As" otherwise the file will load in your browser.

That bus journey is not for the faint hearted, closely followed by the number 9 along the Paisley Road west after a Gers match where they have lost badly *shudders*

cool tune also ::): ::):

sounds like the Orb gone horribly wrong!

Does anyone happen to have a copy of my 62 night bus journey mp3 as I no longer have that hosting account and I've suffered a few HD fails over the years :(
