Hi all, I'm Scott a.k.a. Scotia to some of my friends. I'm 18, and I've lived in Summerston, Glasgow all my life. I like it, even though it's slowly but surely been degenerating into a ned colony over the last few years. :x I'm currently a (struggling) physics student at Glasgow uni.

I've become a huge rail enthusiast over the last several months, which is how I found this excellent site. I was blown away by the amount of info on old railways in Glasgow, including many things which could have been forgotten about entirely if it wasn't for places such as this. Keep it up. :) Apart from that, my interests include music (mostly 80's), Billy Connolly, Chewin' the Fat/Still Game, Only An Excuse, motor racing, space plus one or two other things I can't think of right now.

Having been a member for a few months I have just realised I had forgotten to introduce myself

I am a 36 year old desktop support engineer (box shifter) for a Project management company. I like old photos, history and interesting stories about Glasgow. I find this site really interesting and fun at the same time. It's amazing the things people know and share, it has brightened up many a dull day waiting for a box to be shifted (but don’t tell the boss).

Thanks All

Introductions are like job interviews which I don't like, personel managers and human resources people are not top of my list for people to be saved in the event of a global castrophe, but hey, I like taking photos, I like decay etc, etc, I like history, I'm facinated by the built enviroment, I like looking at your photographs, I hope I can interest you in mine.
