I suspect Sprout's name does begin with a 'B' but it's not Barry. Welcome, young Sprout. Lost the golfball yet?

Welcome, too, to sweetie-pie ... looking forward to seeing some of your photographs of Glasgow, or tales of the old city told by your parents or grandparents. Don't worry too much about the spelling. Some of the folk here are not world-class spellers or typists themselves!!

hi

just joined today - I've been in Glasgow for 3 years now, having lived in Newcastle, Leeds and London before.

It's great to find a site with these interests - looking forward to learning a lot more about Glasgow...
cheers
Jonathan

Hello everybody! I'm from south of the border, but I'm due to move to Glasgow in September to study at Strathclyde.

It'd be nice to familiarise myself with the city before I make the big move...

:wink:

Hello there, my name's Martin and I'm from Glasgow. I've lived here all my life, and always had that little bit of interest in the city around me. And now I've found another interesting website to spend all my time at while I should be studying. Hurrah!

Hello. I should be writing an essay just now but instead I'm hypnotised by this site. It is very, very cool. I've never seen Glasgow so flattered. I could weep. In fact I will. Excuse me.

:: weeps copiously ::

Sorry about that. Anyway you have rekindled my desire to actually be good at photography.

I'll post more once I have a better feel for the place.

Hi there! My name is Iain, been a Sou-Sider all my years. Crackin little site, informative, witty and nicely laid out. Will need to drag myself into the 90's at least and start getting some pics downloaded, a neighbour accross the way has just completed a rather splendid dookit, going against the missives he signed when he moved in, I must add. I'll get a few snaps first before I call the relevant authorities. The user guide for this ZX Spectrum is round here somewhere, so please bear with me, hence the signature. The Coffee lounge is rather comfy. "That coffee is with milk and ONE sugar, when your ready". :)
