Hi there.
I am new to this,so I hope dont make too many mistakes, tell me if I do.
I am working in England at present but will be back home in Wester Ross in a few weeks, I cant get on line all the time down here.
I am interested in local history in my own area but have been doing a family tree on both of my parents and they both have links with Glasgow in the 1800's ie, Rae's at Dowanhill and McNee's in Barrhead and Kirkintilloch and Milton of Campsie, the McNee's were involved in Calico printing.
The Rae's had connections with J & W Campbell, Merchants.

Hi Hollowthorn
Sorry about the first mistake , Whats wrong with Wester Ross, apart from the mountains, and the water, and more hills and red deer standing in the roads :)

Dunno, but interestingly the HG census (1/2/09) showed 28 contributors registered under the name Dave or one of its derivatives (30 if you include 'Dav's).

Anyone heard from GK recently?

I blame the parents. I am another Dave , but I prefer my online moniker for day to day interaction.
