Thanks Fossil, delighted to be here, and thank you to Sharon too for 'activating' me.

Ever since I've been reading these Forums, I've stopped reading the Metro and started looking out of the window when I'm on the train.

Amazingly it's the first time in 20 odd years I've noticed that the old stairway from beside Woolies to Partickhill Station still exists.

Hey Chris, after many car bound years, I've been taking the train, daily, between Paisley & Glasgow & back for the last 5 months or so. Every day I see something new, I don't know how it works, maybe the mind blots out the stuff already seen and accentuates the things previously unseen. Sometimes it's a small detail & sometimes it's gobsmackingly (Fossy telt me that's a wurd) massive. The trick is to change seats, sides and facing directions as much as possible. A word of caution though, if ever you feel strangely aroused by the merest glimpse of a Glesga Bus, be afraid, be very afraid...

Hello my name is Andy, I'm a trainee driving instructor / plebb. I signed up ages ago, but due to work commitments, I have been unable to post on this brilliant forum.

I will post some pictures of the Garden Festival that I have....soon! ( this was the reason I signed up in the first place! )

Hi Angie
The two outfits that have the best handle on big spaces for rent are the City Council (http://www.glasgow.gov.uk) and Scottish Enterprise Glasgow (http://www.scottish-enterprise.com). Contact their property teams, and you're away.
Best, R
