BEER ROASTED CAT

1 cat Skinned, and cut into chunks (Discard Liver)
1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
1 Beef stock cube
1 clove of garlic
1 Can Tennants Lager

Soak cat meat in salt water for 24 hours. Drain water and then cover and soak in beer for 6 hours. Drain and place in pot with your can of soup. Add a clove of garlic, and beef stock cube. If you start to slow cook your cat in the morning with your George Foreman Cooker (or it's ilk), you'll have finely cooked feline in time for supper.

If a slow cooker is not available, a cat can be baked at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours in a conventional oven and still come out pretty good. Beer Roasted Cat is fantastic served with mashed potatoes.
Perfect for when friends call round, best served hot.

Only served by the best take outs on the Maryhill Road. Tastes like stringy chicken depending on age.

I take most of you live in Glasgow where this stuff is brewed. Does i have much of an effect on spelling. Is there a fucking a in the name?

Looks like our Dex has tried a few before making that post...

C'mon Dex, you're slacking; you should have picked the old boy up for the grocers' apostrophe. :P

Hi I've just joined,my name is John, originally from Springburn/Royston (Garngad) now living in the lovely Southside. Love the history of Glasgow and finding wee hidden facts about the place, although love escaping to the hills every now and again. Look forward to finding out more about Glasgow's history and sharing info.

Howdy John.

I think there are one or two other Springburnites here. I merely work there, as well as Possil, Balornock/Barmulloch and the Milton, to name only a few!

Hello to all, its grand to be part of this commuity. I was born and breed in west side of glasgow and grew up in a place called Drumchapel. In 1962 i left to join the army, sadly i never returned to glasgow as i met my wife in england and happy to say we are still together after 41 years. In my spare time i run my own Military forum called British Forces Chat and me own blog under the name of Sapper. :D
