Since then I have visited often and have thoroughly enjoyed reading a lot of the discussions and looking at the photographs.
As my name suggests I live in the the east end and have a particular interest in that area.
Keep up the good work :D

Sorry Monument I didn't know you hailed from the East  What part of Gallowgate?

Still trying to remember where everyone comes from. What about a wee East Enders session.

Well, Belfast being well to the West, I don't think I can claim to be an Eastender. But you might have read my opinions in other threads on Glasgow's West End.

When I moved to Glasgow almost everyone advised me against moving to the Gallowgate and I can honestly say I am very glad I ignored them.

By the way, the police from London Road were round tonight with pictures to see whether I could identify the prossies that knicked my phone the other week :D Good service, eh?

The Police from London Road have the best Murder Detectives in the whole country. Don't know about how good they are at theft. Next time you need them you should do a bit of name dropping. Frank McAveety is your MSP. He is always dealing with London Road for one reason or another.

I know how much you value your privacy, Fossil. So maybe best not be hinting about where people might stay ...

Hi Alex, I'm ashamed to say the only thing I knew about was the Crownpoint Healthy Living Centre as it's on my doorstep. A lot of interesting stuff coming up !

Hi Monument, as we're neighbours I now know who to come to for a cup of sugar ::):

Hi all,

I'm Oli, I'm 27 and I'm French. I got the chance and the luck to live in Glasgow for almost 2 years and I really miss it since. I was looking for some wallpapers of Glasgow when I found this forum and saw an old picture of Anniesland (I had some English courses over there) so I thought "would be nice to say hi!". Well, Glasgow is such a great city, you are amazing and I definitely had the best time when I was there :)
Bye everyone and "Allez les Bleus" for tonight

Hello everyone, I'm Mairead and I hail from Argyllshire. Getting on a bit in years but love the forums as I am on my own much of the time.
Having browsed throughthe forums and read some of the posts I can only say what a nice pleasant site to be on so I will pop in more often now.
I fear not hell, nor English strife,
For Scotland, I will give my life
