Deep fried Mars Bars originated in Whitburn. Everybody has heard of them but visitors to Glasgow can't get over us frying pizzas.

Hot jacket spuds were very popular in my old local down south. Tuna and sweet corn sold the most. There were many options on the menu and the landlord offered grated Mars Bar as a filling.
In ten years, no-one, not even the guy who'd down a pint of live centipedes, ordered one.

ONY, What is the GWEndy House? I have seen it mentioned a few times on this site, but cannot work out what it is? Probably me being thick again.
Due to cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel is off until further notice!
