Does anyone have any further info on this ?

You need a pretty good idea of where you're going before you set off; there's next to no info provided on how to get from A to B! An easy-to-follow path would make things much simpler, and make that station much more attractive to tourists/locals/feart BBC employees alike...

Im not sure if you would be the right contact, but can you tell me if there are any new access routes (footpaths or otherwise) linking Brand Street with Govan Road and Festival Park proposed? ie, making posssible future access from Cessnock subway far more easy?

Worth a look if only to be amazed at the immense size of the rooms:

No Thomson-era internal features left on account of it having been a burned-out wreck for years, but on the other hand the refurbishing must have been a lot more thorough than the usual clean-and-paint job. And did I mention the room size?

Going back a wee bit, but I had no idea part of Walmer Cres had been burnt out. A wee good news story it getting saved, surely.
